Nacido y criado en Colombia, emigr\u00f3 a Estados Unidos con su familia en 1999. Es biling\u00fce en ingl\u00e9s y espa\u00f1ol.<br \/><br \/>El Sr. Vasquez obtuvo su Licenciatura en Psicolog\u00eda, con honores, en la Universidad del Norte de Texas, y su Doctorado en Derecho en la Facultad de Derecho de la Universidad Loyola de Nueva Orleans. Durante sus estudios de derecho, fue seleccionado para el equipo de Tribunales Simulados, form\u00f3 parte de la junta directiva del Grupo de Derecho de Inter\u00e9s P\u00fablico, y particip\u00f3 en la Cl\u00ednica de Derecho Laboral.<br \/><br \/>Antes de abrir su propio bufete, el Sr. Vasquez trabaj\u00f3 en uno de los despachos de abogados de inmigraci\u00f3n m\u00e1s prestigiosos de Estados Unidos y se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como fiscal adjunto en la Fiscal\u00eda del Condado de Dallas. En ese puesto, tambi\u00e9n se desempe\u00f1\u00f3 como enlace con la comunidad hispana, trabajando para fortalecer relaciones y abordar los problemas que afectan a la comunidad hispana en todo el condado de Dallas. Tambi\u00e9n es exalumno de la promoci\u00f3n 2013-2014 de Leadership Irving-Las Colinas.<br \/><br \/>El Sr. Vasquez tiene licencia para ejercer la abogac\u00eda en el estado de Texas y atiende asuntos de inmigraci\u00f3n en todo el pa\u00eds. Su pr\u00e1ctica abarca inmigraci\u00f3n familiar, ayuda humanitaria, Estatus de Protecci\u00f3n Temporal, Acci\u00f3n Diferida para los Llegados en la Infancia (DACA), asilo, y casos complejos con antecedentes penales.
