Criminal Defense Attorney

Attorney Alexandra Lawson was raised in Chicago by immigrant parents in a Jamaican household that instilled in her a deep respect for justice, advocacy, and education. From an early age, she demonstrated a natural passion for debate and the law, a calling her family recognized long before she entered the legal profession.

Alexandra earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Howard University. Before pursuing law school, she spent several years as an English teacher, an experience that strengthened her communication skills and reinforced her commitment to service and mentorship.

She later earned her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2022. Since then, Alexandra has practiced criminal law with a strong focus on immigration-related matters. The majority of her clients have been noncitizens, giving her extensive experience navigating cases where criminal charges carry serious immigration consequences.

Alexandra approaches every case with a comprehensive, strategic mindset, understanding the critical importance of analyzing matters through both a criminal and immigration lens. She is deeply committed to protecting her clients’ rights, futures, and families with diligence, clarity, and compassion.
